Rapid Antigen Screening Program For Small & Medium‑sized Organizations
In collaboration with the Government of Canada, Shoppers Drug Mart will be offering increased and timely access to free rapid antigen tests for Canadian organizations to use for workplace screening of their employees.
Now available at all Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.

Currently, only high-contact critical employees of small and medium sized businesses and organizations, including not-for-profit organizations, in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta are eligible.

The tests being used are rapid antigen tests that are authorized and provided free of charge by Health Canada. Please note that all preliminary positive results from a rapid antigen test will need to be confirmed by a standard PCR COVID test from local COVID-19 Assessment Centre.
No. Tests are currently only available at Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.
No. The organization will be responsible for ensuring that the individuals administering the tests are authorized & trained, as well as to follow all public health guidelines.
Currently, tests are being offered free-of-charge; however, a $14 handling fee will be charged for every box of 25 tests.
To get started, access our program portal to register. Once registration is completed on the program portal, we will process your request and confirm your eligibility for the program within 2-3 business days.
